WebPine Point Rapids This is a scenic 6.5K intermediate classic trail located between Betula Lake and Nutimik Lake. It has a couple of intermediate hills on the way to a nice warm-up cabin at the open water of the Whiteshell River. There is also an optional short hike up to a peak that overlooks the area. Most of its 2,729 square km sits north of the Trans-Canada Highway. It’s been called the Jewel of Manitoba’s Parks, probably because of its location in the rugged Precambrian Shield.

WebAn easy hike through the forest of Whiteshell Provincial Park. The trail can be taken as a loop. The rapids, a small cabin with a wood stove, and numerous picnic areas are found about 3 km in. In the summer the rapids are fun to slide down. In the winter, the trail makes a peaceful ski or snowshoe. Great for families.
