WebMember organizations agree to support the Jemez Principles (how we organize), our Points of Unity (what we stand for) and our legislative platform (what we want to achieve). We believe that fighting climate change requires that we center values of justice and equity, both as an ethical imperative and a strategic advantage. The Jemez meeting was hosted by the Southwest Network for Environmental and Economic Justice with the intention of hammering out common understandings between participants from different cultures, politics and organizations. The following “Jemez Principles” for democratic organizing were adopted by the participants.
