WebDec 18, 2024 · I also had a phone where I started the initial setup process and then reset it and started again. One of my attempts shows up as an unused “Nexus 5” in my activity. So I am pretty sure that “Nexus 5” is just the default device when Google doesn’t have the opportunity to run long enough on a device to load its actual model information. WebIt simply does not work. I tried it. Does not work. There is no way to specify a google + account prior to starting the game then its too late. I did log into google + on both devices eventually but the new device never did anything but start at level 1. Lost all my progress. They should probably at least test this before saying it works.
