They have become less efficient and slower, but players can still use them to get rare items like nautilus shells, saddles and name tags. WebYan get a lot of tips from the fish descriptions aswell. I only use yt for the monsters, or when some stupid uni is taking way too long to catch myself. Some guidelines : Plants mean fish. Small fish (panfish variations) usually hide along the shores and in weedbeds/lilyfields. Fish hunting those (bass/pike and such) will be there abouts aswell.

I can fish a Cloudy day from 7-9pm and catch 4-500 pounds of fish and 8000 or more xp. Sunny days I am letting Trophy's go.
