I was then increased to 60mg as my maintenance dose and have been taking it for a few months. I took my first dose (30mg) in the evening hours and started feeling the effects shortly thereafter. WebI am wondering how effective Cymbalta is for anxiety (I mean severe anxiety). I am currently weaning off of Effexor (the worst drug to exist) and am currently in a mental crisis. Random panic attacks, missing school due to extreme panic, somatic symptoms which include diarrhea and nausea everytime I have a panic attack, and extreme mood swings.
